WACSip
Web-based Adult Content Server
A PHP interface for WACS
WACS is a Web-based Adult Content Server package written in perl and
making extensive use of a database-backended architecture to provide
many advanced features. This package, Wacs-PHP, is a set of routines
written in PHP to allow web applications in php to access the Wacs
infrastructure. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the
normal Wacs system and only implements the functionality needed to
access the Wacs infrastructure and build applications to make use of
it.
Maintanence and management of that
infrastructure remains a feature of the main (perl-based) Wacs package.
While this package is targetted at web developers not end users, it does
contain a much simpler mini-web site kit called The simple
skin which people may prefer as a way to present their
collections to their friends compared to the relative complexity of the
main WACS system.
Additionally, starting with the 0.8.4 release, it also includes some
sample Web 2.0 applications that people may wish to use as part of their
standard WACS environment.
For details of how to develop web
applications that use the WACS API in either language, please see the API
and Programming documents in the main Wacs documentation tree.
