WACS: Overview

Contents

Introduction

A lot of folks, probably mostly guys, like to collect adult imagery and video clips. There is a lot of it available on the net, and in amongst the multitude of subscription web sites, there are a number who offer very fine quality, original content. If one visits a number of these sites, one rapidly becomes used to seeing many of the same faces featuring, often under different pseudonyms. Managing the information on who these models are, their various attributes and characteristics, and what sets you have featuring that model is a challenge significantly more complex and specific than most photo management tools can provide. Further few if any provide automatic download features to keep your collection up-to-date with all the latest additions to the portfolios of your favourite models.

WACS is a package that provides most of the features of the best adult web sites to help you organise, manage, update and access such a collection on your own (server) computer or possibly a remote server. WACS provides a significant number of web-page creating programs that come together to build the infrastructure of your own private adult web site in which to house your personal collection complete with catalogues, indexes, updates and search facilities.

Where To Begin

WACS is a fairly sizeable package and builds on quite a significant number of software packages, routines and libraries. Before starting on your own installation, it's probably worth reviewing the user guide so you have some feel for how it should look once operational.
